Classroom Technology

Google Classroom

Google classroom is Aim Academy of Science & Technology District’s learning management systems where teachers seamlessly integrate technology into the classroom instruction. Teachers use google classroom to provide assignments and other classroom activities to foster highly engaging communications.

Student Emails

Students at Aim Academy of Science & Technology will be issued school issued email accounts that will serve as the username for the student’s account of the school management systems.

JMC- Student Record Management Software

Aim Academy of Science & Technology is planning to use Student Record Management Software System to support each students’ individual learning needs.

Mentorship & Internships

Mentorship

One of the three frames of success (3FoS) model which is the basis of is to provide culturally responsive mentorship for students at Aim Academy of Science & Technology. Each student is given the option to work with a trusted mentor in a safe space to support students academic growth. Mentors working with students help mentees develop individual learning plans with specific achievement goals.

Internships

Another key frame of the 3FoS Model is curricular connections with STEM based businesses and industries. Juniors and seniors at Aim Academy of Science and Technology will have the opportunity to either shadow or work with professionals in the various STEM based companies in the twin cities.
